Lawley GF
Nino approached Hallmark Developments WA with a granny flat design that he had prepared by his own architect. It had to blend in with his parents existing old Mount Lawley home who’s garden it was to be built in. Nino wanted a high end finish, as this was going to be where he would be living whilst looking after his elderly parents. It also had to be practical enough that it could be rented out at a later date if needed.
With matching red brickwork, open eaves, timber windows and doors and roof tiles with a nice veranda, it was like a mini version of the main home. The kitchen was designed in a way that it could be shut away behind Wenge Bi-folding doors and when opened up revealed a sleek kitchenette with funky red glass splash back. Floating vanity and travertine full height tiling to the bathroom. The travertine tile was carried out through the entire granny flat giving it a real up market feel.
