John and Lynda were looking for  a self-contained space for their son to live in, giving him independence and giving them “their home back”. Unfortunately they didn’t have the space for a free standing granny flat, so an extension to the home seemed to be the best option.

The extension had to blend in seamlessly with the existing house, and needed to comprise of a main bedroom with Ensuite, linen cupboard, living area with kitchenette and a spare bathroom / laundry. They wanted the space to be of a reasonably high standard so opted for full height tiling, air-conditioning throughout as well as upgraded sanitary ware.

We also extended the patio area to create an undercover area for the granny flat.
