Simon and his partner decided they would rent out their main residence to maximise their rental income, and build a micro home in their back yard for themselves to live in.

This granny flat was designed loosely on our Trigg design. The owners liked the design, but opted out of the undercover area at the front and instead mixed the façade up with render and rustic brickwork. The couple wanted a more commercial / London ware house feel so carried the brickwork through to the inside and added pendant hanging lights and retro wall lights along with some classic items of furniture to complete the home.  They also decided they wanted to up-spec some of the finishes, adding stone bench tops and full height tiling.
